The fastest and easiest transportation is a flight to get it Rara Lake. You need to take two different flight to reach Rara Lake.

First, you have to catch a domestic flight Kathmandu to Nepaljung. They are daily flights Kathmandu to Nepaljung. The flight cost will be around 180 USD per person one way. For Nepali, the flight cost will be around US$ 40 to 70 per person.

Second, you need to take another domestic flight Nepaljung to Talcha (Mugu) airport. From this airport, you have to walk around 3-4 hours to reach Rara Lake. It will have cost around US$116 per person one-way flight.

Public Bus

You can choose a local bus or deluxe bus from Kathmandu to Lukla. The cost will be around US$15 per person one way.

It will take around 15-16 hours to reach Nepaljung. From Nepaljung you will take a local Jeep to Talcha. During summer season remote areas roadways a very bad to drive.

Hire a Private Vehicle- Car, Jeep, Van

You can hire a private vehicle to take you Rara Lake. This is more expensive than the public bus and cheaper than the flights.
