Everest view trek 5 days itinerary is a short adventure in the Himalayas to opportunity for great views of the world’s highest peak. In this short trip, you can witness the interesting and fascinating cultures of local native Sherpa people. Also, the highlanders of Everest where men-folk known as famous natural climbers and pioneers as mountaineering guides.
You will enjoy great moments within the harmony of mountains and Sherpa immense. And their warm hospitality that makes your time in the high mountain village worth a visit.
The walking starts with a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to many adventure destinations around the Everest region trek. It takes you to the pleasant path through attractive Sherpa villages. And into the cool shade of the alpine forest to reach the famous Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar is a large and colorful town where one can find all types of excellent facilities required by trekkers. A place where the busy market takes place once a week on Saturday, a new bazaar to observe.
While at Namche, the walk takes you to high elevation at Everest View Hotel. Here, you can enjoy superb views of Mt. Everest and other range of mighty peaks. In the comfort of the luxury hotel with the backdrop of Mt. Everest, you can also enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Amadablam.
Everest region trek generally begins from Lukla after the 35 minutes mountain flight from Kathmandu. But we cannot predict the weather condition of the Himalayan region. Then you cannot make a fight vice versa because of the bad climate. If the weather is changed the small runway of the Lukla airport (Tenzing Hillary airport) can be dark and cannot fly on time. It might be delayed or cancellation a couple of days because of the bad weather. So we would highly recommend a couple of extra days for the Everest region trek.
Enjoying your life with marvelous views of surrounding grand scenery downhill to Namche and then back at Lukla. After an enjoyable experience and memorable time on Khumbu valley, a short scenic flight brings you to Kathmandu.
Best Season for Everest view trek 5 days:
The spring season (March-May) will be the best time when wild-flowers, especially the rhododendron (Nepal national flower) in full bloom, which the walk more appealing with beautiful, bright morning till afternoon, with some chances of rains sometimes.
September to early December another best month around Autumn/Fall and pre-winter, when most of the days are clear for views and walks but can be much colder and freezing as altitude gains with chances of snow sometimes.
Everest View Trek 5 Days Short Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m (35 mins) and walk to Phakding 2,654 m- 04 hrs.
Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m- 06 hrs.
Day 03: At Namche trek to Everest View Point, 3,880 m – 05 hrs walk both ways.
Day 04: Trek to Lukla – 06 hrs last day walks.
Day 05: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
