Incredible Manaslu Base camp trek
We did Manaslu base camp trek in last October with Adventure
Alpine Gorkha Treks & Expedition (AGGT). Mr. Thakur, Managing Director Response our email very quickly and Promptly. I like his honesty and I choose this company.
While in Nepal, Thakur and his team very carefully take care of us. Our pickup drop from the airport, accommodation, vehicle service and porter guide service manage by the company. We had great guide, he always provide excellent service during trek. He has good knowledge about mountaineering and trekking in Nepal. So we are very grateful, our guide and porter service. They always choose nice accommodation and healthy food to us.
A lots love to Adventure Alpine Gorkha Treks for our memorable journey and hope to visit again.

by Joe Sutton on Alpine Adventure Gorkha Treks

I have traveled twice to Nepal for trekking expeditions with Adventure Alpine Treks. Thakur is an easy guy to work with and focuses on making sure that his clients are well taken care of - from meeting you at the airport to arranging guides around Kathmandu to running interference on cancelled flights to Lukla or securing a helicopter at the last minute. He has great connections throughout Nepal.
My first trek in 2013 with a child hood friend and fellow Boy Scout was on my ‘bucket list’ for many years. I researched trekking companies serving the Everest region of the Himalayas on-line and focused on both US and Nepal based companies. I came across Thakur’s company in my research and reached out for references. I ended up speaking with a Brit, an Aussie plus trekkers from the US and Spain. All gave Thakur and his team great reviews.
Our 21 day trek in 2013 took us to Everest base camp with summiting on Kalapatar and then on to Gokyo Valley and Renjo-La. Thakur’s lead guide, Tilak, was fantastic! He watched us as we trekked and helped us to maintain a steady but very doable pace.
I returned in 2016, again using Alpine Adventure Treks and with Tilac as our guide. A college buddy and I spent 18 days in the Manaslu region with a side trip to the Tsum Valley and then on to Larke-La at 5100m. Another absolutely beautiful trip!
Both of these treks involved meals and lodging in tea houses along the way. Tilac always sent the porters ahead to secure the best locations. We generally observed that Tilac is deeply seasoned and highly regarded by the other guides throughout the Himalayas where we trekked. Tell Thakur you want Tilac! He will take good care of you.
