Panchase Hill Trekking of five days starts and ends at picturesque Pokhara valley, a popular touristic spot in all Himalaya and probably in the world, where short boat ride and climb takes you on the top scenic ridge top of Buddhist Peace Stupa.
Amazing views of Pokhara valley and a city with Annapurna, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri Himal with majestic Machhapuchare the famous ‘Fish-Tail’ peaks, as walk, follows on the long high ridge past farm village of Pumdi with a climb and easy walk to Bhumdi village.
Views of Annapurna remains constant throughout the walks, spending overnight in nice local Lodge that allows you to interact with villagers and knowing great cultures of the area of visit then leaving the farm field entering into dense cool shade forested area of tall rhododendron, oaks, pines and fir tree lines with ups and down to reach at Panchase Bhanjyang small village, located beneath Panchase scenic Hill.
Early morning climb of few hours to reach the highest point of the trek at Panchase Hilltop above 2,509 m high rewards you with striking sunrise over chain of Himalayan peaks from Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft), including to Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish-tail) at 6,790 m extends towards world’s 7th high Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m with 08th Mt. Manaslu at 8,163 m includes array of peaks across far horizon.
After a great time with beautiful views in the comfort of lovely Lodge and then on pleasant walk into alpine forest to reach large Gurung village of Bhadaure, as route follows ups to grasp at another scenic view-point at Sarankot, a fantastic hilltop for glorious sunrise over chain of mountain range with views of Pokhara valley and city.
Enjoying overnights at a beautiful spot in Sarankot with stunning sunrise and sunset views, and then downhill walk back to Pokhara by the serene lake Phewa to complete our incredible Panchase Hill Trekking of 5 days.
Best Times and Seasons for Panchase Hill Trekking-05 Days:
Nearly all season of the year, most preferred times in spring season from March to May when wild-flowers, especially rhododendron (Nepal national flower), will be in full bloom, with bright morning till afternoon, with some chances of rains sometimes.
October to early December, another best month around Autumn/Fall and the start of winter, nearly all days are clear for views and pleasant walks but much cold, and freezing temperatures around high altitude can expect snow sometimes.
