Panchase Hill Trekking of five days starts and ends at picturesque Pokhara valley, a popular touristic spot in all Himalaya and probably in the world, where short boat ride and climb takes you on the top scenic ridge top of Buddhist Peace Stupa.

Amazing views of Pokhara valley and a city with Annapurna, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri Himal with majestic Machhapuchare the famous ‘Fish-Tail’ peaks, as walk, follows on the long high ridge past farm village of Pumdi with a climb and easy walk to Bhumdi village.

Views of Annapurna remains constant throughout the walks, spending overnight in nice local Lodge that allows you to interact with villagers and knowing great cultures of the area of visit then leaving the farm field entering into dense cool shade forested area of tall rhododendron, oaks, pines and fir tree lines with ups and down to reach at Panchase Bhanjyang small village, located beneath Panchase scenic Hill.

Early morning climb of few hours to reach the highest point of the trek at Panchase Hilltop above 2,509 m high rewards you with striking sunrise over chain of Himalayan peaks from Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft), including to Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish-tail) at 6,790 m extends towards world’s 7th high Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m with 08th Mt. Manaslu at 8,163 m includes array of peaks across far horizon.

After a great time with beautiful views in the comfort of lovely Lodge and then on pleasant walk into alpine forest to reach large Gurung village of Bhadaure, as route follows ups to grasp at another scenic view-point at Sarankot, a fantastic hilltop for glorious sunrise over chain of mountain range with views of Pokhara valley and city.
Enjoying overnights at a beautiful spot in Sarankot with stunning sunrise and sunset views, and then downhill walk back to Pokhara by the serene lake Phewa to complete our incredible Panchase Hill Trekking of 5 days.

Best Times and Seasons for Panchase Hill Trekking-05 Days:

 Nearly all season of the year, most preferred times in spring season from March to May when wild-flowers, especially rhododendron (Nepal national flower), will be in full bloom, with bright morning till afternoon, with some chances of rains sometimes.

October to early December, another best month around Autumn/Fall and the start of winter, nearly all days are clear for views and pleasant walks but much cold, and freezing temperatures around high altitude can expect snow sometimes.

Panchase Hill Trekking 5 Days Detailed Itinerary


Day 01:
From Pokhara trek to Bhumdi 1,500m via Peace Stupa and Phumdi - 06 hrs.

Panchase Hill Trekking of 5 days starts taking a boat ride or short drive from the hotel at Pokhara to reach at Buddhist Peace or Shanti Stupa with ups through farm villages and a patch of the cool forest.

Enjoying lovely views from the top of Pokhara valley and the city with huge snow-capped mountain range walk takes you to Pumdi village and then at Bhumdi village for an overnight stop in a simple local lodge.

Day 02:
Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang 2,200 m -05-hrs

Trek begins with gentle climb into cool alpine forest of oaks and rhododendron tree lines with views of Annapurna peaks and Mt. Machhapuchare, a pleasant trek for few hours till lunch, and then uphill climb with a descend to overnight stop at Panchase Bhanjyang 2,200 m, at the base of Panchase hill offers grand views of mountain range.

Day 03:
Hike to Panchase hill 2,509m and trek to Bhadaure village 1,670m.

 Morning hike to Panchase hilltop located at 2,509 m for super sunrise over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Mt. Manaslu range of mountains, besides views of peaks, a holy spot where local pilgrims visits here on religious festivals once a year inauspicious time. 

After an enjoyable time downhill to Bhanjyang, continue to walk to Bhadaure village through the serene forest till Bhadaure village, a moderate size Gurung village with views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South.

Day 04:
Trek to Sarankot 1,460 m -05 hrs

Morning facing views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range as a route on the quiet trail where few trekkers seldom walk around this area, leads to pleasant walk with a climb to Naudanda offers magnificent views of Annapurna Himalaya.

From Naudanda, walk leads along a ridgeline and into the warmer country within the area of Hindu farm villages populated by Brahmin and Chettries tribe, walk winds upon reaching at famous Sarankot for last and final overnight stop on high hills of Annapurna.
Sarankot is the most popular place for sunrise and sunset views of mountains, the tallest spot around Pokhara valley, beside stunning panorama famous for paragliding, which is one of the most popular adventures.

Day 05:
Trek to Phewa Lakeside at Pokhara and transfer to hotel - 04 hrs.

Morning catch striking sunrise views over a range of snowcapped mountains, after breakfast, walk downhill to reach at Phewa Lake to conclude our short morning walks of five days, after a marvelous time up around high hills of Panchase Hill trekking.
