Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1340m

At Tribhuvan International Airport our company representative received and drop to the hotel by luxurious private vehicle. And you will get some refreshments at the hotel. If you want to walk around walk touristic place Thamel, you can. It is the busy touristic hub Kathmandu Nepal.

If you arrive early in the daytime, we will meet our office and talk about the whole trip with us. Also, we will introduce the tour guide and trekking guide. Our trekking and tour export will introduce all about the trip to Nepal. Otherwise, if you arrive in the evening we will discuss tomorrow.

Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu valley

Trip Duration:  5-6 hour tour

After having breakfast our tour guide will take to you world heritage sites in Kathmandu Nepal. There are many World Heritage Sites listed on UNESCO in Kathmandu. You will experience different ancient heritage sites of Hindu and Buddhist religions. From these, you will get knowledge about culture, tradition, and lifestyle.

Today you will visit Pashupatinath, is the Hindu temple, you can see crimination, it is Siva temple, and the creator of the earth as well as you can explore ancient architecture. Buddha Nath and Sayambhunath (Monkey Temple) are the Buddhist temples, where you can experience Buddhist culture, religious activities, and the amazing craft of these ancient temples. The next one is Kathmandu Durbar square, it is the ancient royal place and surrounding beautiful temples. Day 03: Fly to Pokhara, (25minute flight) drive to Nayapool 1070m (1/2 hour drive) and trek to Hille (1500m)

Trip Duration: 25-minute flight, 1 and half hour drive and 4=hours walk

Early in the morning, our guide will take to the domestic airport to fly Pokhara. After a few minutes of flight, you will arrive at Pokhara and meet with your porter and drive to Nayapool. You will drop a private vehicle to Nayappol.

Then start your real trekking journey to Hille. After a few minutes’ walk, you will arrive at Birathanthi, where the place is checked your permits to enter into the Annapurna conservation trek. Here, you will take lunch at continued your trekking journey. Birathinthi is lying at the bank of Modi Khola River.

Mostly you will be flowing the dirt road trekking trail till Hille village. You will enjoy the beautiful walk through pleasant environments, small villages, rivers, waterfalls, paddy fields, and amazing natural beauty. Hill is a beautiful village where you enjoy naturally decorated nature views. It looks like a piece of heaven. The tea houses serve a warm hospitality service.

Day04: Trek to Gorepani (2860m) from Hille

Highest Altitude: 2860m Ghorepani

Trip Duration:  5-6 hour walk

The trek begins with a gentle walk towards Thikadhunga, crossing the suspension bridge and climbing the staircase steep more than 3000 until you arrive at Ulleri (1900m). Ulleri is the big villages of the Magar inhabitants. From Ulleri you can get the amazing views of Annapurna South (7219m) and Himchili (6645m) mountains.

Then you walking through the beautiful village till Banthanti and mostly across the rhododendron forest until you arrive at Ghorepani. On the way to Ghorepani, you will walk through the Nangathati village.

Walking a few hours you will arrive at Ghorepani. Ghorepani is the large village on top hill, where is a large number of Poon Magar people settlements. From the village, you will get mesmerizing views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range.

Day05: Early morning Hike to Poon hill and Trek to Tadapani (2640m)

You will be hiking Poon Hill early in the morning for the sunrise views over the Himalayan range. Poon hill is the popular viewpoint in the Annapurna region trek. It is located at an altitude of 3210m from the sea level. You will enjoy the magnificent views of the Himalayan range.

The clear sunrise views over the Himalayan region is astonishing. You will get the complete panoramic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range from the Poon Hill. You get the sight of Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV, V, Annapurna south, Himchuli, Machhapuchre, Nilgiri, Dhampus peak and many more.

You will be spending about an hour at Poon hill back to the Ghorepani. After having breakfast heading towards Tadapani. Today is also an exciting hike Annapurna base camp trekking trail.

From Ghorepani, you will be walking through the ridge the hill up to the Deurali hill. Then you will be crossing green lush Rhododendron forest, you reach Deurali.

Then you will be descending to Banthanti and after a walk, half an hour arrive at Tadapani.

Day 06: Trek to Chomrong (2170m) from Tadapani

Highest Altitude: 2170m Chomrong

Trip Duration:  5-6 hour walk

Accommodation: Tea houses

The journey begins with descending through the Rhododendron forest. You have to descending about an hour.  The trekking trail leads you through the beautiful trace fields. After walk an hour downhill you will meet Kimrong Khola. Then you will cross the suspension bridge.

After crossing Kimrong Khola downhill walk is done. And you will trek through the descend hill and straight until you arrive at Chomrong village. You will cross the beautiful village of Chule village. Beautiful trekking trail leads you to arrive at our today’s destination Chhomrong.

Chhomrong is the gateway of the Annapurna base camp trekking trail. This is a densely populated Gurung village. The people are very helpful, calm, and friendly.

From Chhomrong village you can get the sight of Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Machhapuchree (Fishtail).

Day 07: Trek to Dovan (2600m) via Sinwa and Bamboo (2340m)

Highest Altitude: 2000m Dovan

Trip Duration:  5-6 hour walk

After having breakfast you will start a trip. The trekking trail leads you descending the hill to Chhomrong Khola. You will be crossing the suspension bridge. Then you will walk uphill until you reach Sinawa. The trekking trail leads you through the green lush Rhododendron and Oak forest.

After crossing the lush green forest, slippery trail, steep downhill staircase arrive at Bamboo village. It is closer to the Modi Khola river bank.

Then you will be ascending through the bamboo forest along the river bank reach at our today destination Dovan.

Day 08: Trek to Daurali (3230m) from Dovan via Himalaya

Once again you will start a journey through the dense green forest. Along the trekking trail, you might be seen alpine region wildlife, Himalayan Goat, Monkey, Deer, etc. you enjoy the pleasant sound of the birds from the forest. Walking through the rocky trail surrounding the huge hills offers natural beauty.

From Hinku Cave to Durali is quite a difficult part of the trek. So, you have to careful while walking through.

Day 09: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m, ABC) via Machhapuchree Base Camp (3700m, MBC)

Todays the final part of our trek, a challenging and high altitude trek, which offers the amazing landscape across the Machhapuchre base camp. Walking is quite difficult because of the altitude walking through the rocky trekking trail. You have to walk slowly and your own pace, it will easy to walk.

You will walk heading towards Annapurna base camp, the ultimate destination. With full of excitement, you will arrive on ABC at 4130m above sea level. The base camp is located surrounding mountains. So it is called Annapurna Sanctuary.

Annapurna base camp offers the majestic views of the Himalayan range, so clear and closer. The Himalayan range includes Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Gangapurna (7,454m), Annapurna Fang (7,646m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Annapurna III (7,555m), Machhapuchhre (6,997m), and so on. Here you enjoy the sunrise and sunset views over the snowcapped mountains.

Day 10: Trek back to Bamboo (2340m)

Trip Duration:  6-hour walk

Today you will same way back from your targeted destination. The trekking trail descending through the rocky Himalayan terrain and reached at ever-growing bamboo, Rhododendron, and oak forest. You will arrive at Bamboo flowing the earlier forest trail. But you have to careful while walking through the rugged descending hill.

Day 11: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1750m, Natural hot spring)

Highest Altitude: 1750m, Jhinu Danda

From Bamboo, we fallow the same way back to Chhomrong.  You will enjoy the walk through the pleasant scenic surrounding.

The trekking trail goes uphill until Khudi Ghar. From here you will be descending until you reach Chhomrong Khola.

Then you walk uphill until you reach Chhomrong Village. You will be flowing the stone staircase. After reach at Chhomrong, you will be descending till you reach Jhnu Danda.

Jhinu Danda is the popular place for the Natural hot spring in Annapurna base camp trek.  You leave your bag pack at tea houses and went to the place to take a bath on the hot spring.

Day 12: Trek to Pothana (1890m) via Landruk (1565m)

Highest Altitude: 1890m Pothana

Trip Duration:  5-6 hour walk

You will have to walk further 5-6 hours to reach at Pothana from Jhinu Danda. The trekking leads you through the crossing suspension bridge of Modi Khola from Near New Bridge. You will be passing many more small villages arrive at Landruk. From Landruk you can see the popular Ghandruk village in Annapurna region trek.

Day 13: Trek to Phedi (1,440m) and Drive to Pokhara

You will walk through popular Dhampus village offers mesmerizing views of sublime Annapurna, Fishtail, as well as Manaslu mountains. It is the settlements of Brahmans, Gurungs, Chhetris, etc. here, you can also experience the diverse culture and tradition.

Annapurna base camp trekking routes provide tea houses accommodation service. They have limited facilities. The tea houses provide twin sharing accommodation with comfortable bed service. They provide are focusing on a local product for the food.

Trekking in lower elevation, you have plenty of tea houses provide service. You have a lot of choices. Also, tea houses provide luxurious accommodation attached to bathroom service. However, while heading towards higher elevation tea houses provide limited service. They don’t have an attached bath but you have to uses common bathroom service. If you are trekking peak season you don’t find good accommodation. So you have to pre-book otherwise you have to sleep in the dining room. You might be suffering from cold.

Do I need permits?

Yes, you need two types of’ permits for the ABC trek. Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and Trekkers’ Information Management System Card (TIMS). You can get these permits from the Tourism board Kathmandu and Pokhara.
