Yala Peak Climbing with Adventure Alpine Gorkha Treks leads you to a memorable and exciting journey to the far end of beautiful and scenic Langtang valley enclosed by a range of high mountains. Yala Peak climbs, where the route leads you above green forested areas towards the picturesque green valley at Kyanjin within Langtang valley — then heading towards the complete wilderness of mountain range to reach the base of Yala Peak.

Yala Peak climbs a lesser mountain at the height of above 5,500 m /18,044 ft, where grade listed as just ‘F’ means a climb of “Facial Easy” grading from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification Systems. An accessible peak to climb of less technical difficulty where climbers require adequate climbing gear such as ice-ax, crampons with main ropes on descending for safe and secure adventure on Yala Peak Climb.

Yala Peak Climb starts from Kathmandu heading towards the straight north direction to reach around Rasuwa district within Langtang Himal range in the home country of Tamang, the main tribe of Langtang area. From the road-head after ending the drive heading uphill towards forested areas and then reaching at beautiful Langtang valley at Kyanjin facing marvelous mountain views, with time here for acclimatization and then towards Yala Peak base camp.

For Yala Peak Climb where the camp is set with spacious tents till the climb is completed, at base camp relax and then heading for a significant long haul to reach the summit of Yala Peak after walking past glacier and snow sections.

You are enjoying dramatic scenery from the summit of Yala Peak with views of both side landscapes and mountains of Tibet located just across massive Langtang mountain range.

An enjoyable climb and success head back to Kyajin to follow the same route back at Syabrubesi for a new drive to Kathmandu with grand memories and experience with an adventure on Yala Peak Peak Climb.

Best Seasons for Yala Peak Climbing and Langtang Valley Trekking

Nearly all seasons of the year can be trekked and as well for the climb of Yala and other peaks within Langtang valley.

March to May on springtime best time with wild-flowers especially the rhododendron (Nepal national flower) in full bloom; the walk will be more attractive with beautiful, bright morning till afternoon, with some chances of rains sometimes.

October to November another best months around Autumn/Fall and pre-winter, when most of the days are clear for views and walks but can be much colder and freezing as altitude gains with chances of snow sometimes.

Monsoon months from mid June to mid September a wet rainy seasons where less number of trekkers venture and some lodge in mid monsoon and mid-winter lodge can be closed sometimes due to harsh and wet climate which makes the walking trails much harder and slippery, but much greener hills with lush vegetation in wet seasons, so the choice as per your holidays in Nepal and for Yala Peak Climb and Langtang Valley Trekking.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu via various airlines and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: In Kathmandu options for sightseeing tour and trek preparation.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi 1,503 m- 06 hrs.
  • Morning with interesting drive beyond Kathmandu to Dhunche town and at
    Syabrubesi village for first overnight stop around Langtang Himal region of
    Rasuwa district the home of Tamang tribes.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel 2,450 m - 06 hrs.
  • Walk commence from Syabrubesi village cross a bridge over Langtang River,
  • Climb into farm areas and green dense forest to Lama Hotel for overnight stop within forested area.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang Village 3,430 m - 05 hrs.
  • From Lama Hotel walk follows river upstream in forested areas and gorge,
    Reach at Ghodetabla for lunch stop and refreshing break
  • After lunch walk to Langtang village for overnight stop views of Langtang Lirung peaks towards north above high rocky cliff wall.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin 3,830 m / 12,565 ft - 04 hrs.
  • Morning short walk to Kyanjin major destination of the journey,
  • A short steep climb to a ridge leaving forested area
  • Walk leads into a wide scenic Langtang valley enclosed with array of peaks
  • Overnight stop at Kyanjin within Langtang valley with grand mountain views

Day 07: At Kyanjin for option hike to Kyanjin-Ri 4,773 m /15,659 ft or Tsesgo-Ri 4,984 m /16,351ft.
  • A rest day for hike to high hills of Kyanjin-Ri or on top of Tsego-Ri
  • Offers panorama of whole Langtang Himal Mountain range with some peaks of Tibet across the border

Day 08: Trek to Yala peak Base Camp 4,870 m/15,977 ft - 05 hrs.
  • Morning walk further east from Kyanjin towards our real adventure,
  • Trek on grassy filed to reach rocky and glacier area then steep climb to reach a flat area for overnight camp just beneath towering Yala Peak at 4, 870 m high.
  • From base camp enjoy views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Yala peak and adjoining mountains.

Day 09: Climb Yala Peak 5,500 m /1,8044ft back at base camp - 07hrs.
  • Start early morning follow our expert guide climb on snow slopes encountering ice and rocky sections
  • Climb continues of less technical effort leading to strenuous climb to reach on top of Yala Peak summit.
  • From the summit enjoy spectacular panorama of whole Langtang Himal with Shishapangma on Tibet side includes Dorje Lakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung.
  • After facing beautiful views of mountains on both Tibet and Nepal sides enjoying marvelous moment descend safely back to base camp.

Day 10: Spare and contingency day in case of unfavorable weather condition.
  • A necessary contingency day in case of bad weather conditions that might delay our climbing schedule.
  • If all goes well enjoy this extra day on walk back to Syabrubesi taking easy and enjoyable time.

Day 11: Trek to Kyanjin- 04 hrs.
  • Enjoying adventure of a lifetime experience and with camping
  • Morning clean the base camp taking care of litters and garbage to hand at proper disposal sites on route back.
  • After packing then head on scenic trail to reach at Kyanjin for overnight in the comfort of a cozy lodge after a great Yala Peak climb

Day 12: Trek to Lama Hotel -06 hrs.
  • Morning catch the views and walk back to Lama Hotel on downhill of about six hours back into forest area.

Day 13: Trek to Syabrubesi -05 hrs.
  • From Lama Hotel last day walks of the adventure trail follows downhill to Riverside.
  • After refreshing break enjoying views descend to cross over a bridge then walk back to Syabrubesi for last overnight around Langtang Himal.

Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu -06 hrs.
  • After trekking around Rasuwa district back to Kathmandu, on completing wonderful adventure on Langtang Valley Trekking
  • Transfer to respective hotels with rest of the afternoon free at leisure

Day 15: International Departure homeward bound or respective countries.
  • Depart from the hotel as per your time for international flights.
