Everest view trek 5 days itinerary is a short adventure in the Himalayas to opportunity for great views of the world’s highest peak. On this short trip, you can witness the interesting and fascinating cultures of local native Sherpa people. The walking starts with a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to many adventure destinations around the Everest region trek. It takes you on a pleasant path through attractive Sherpa villages. And into the cool shade of the alpine forest to arrive at the famous Namche Bazaar.

Namche Bazaar is a large and colorful town where one can find all types of excellent facilities required by trekkers. A place where the busy market takes place once a week on Saturday, a new bazaar to observe.

While at Namche, the walk takes you to a high elevation at Everest View Hotel. Here, you can enjoy superb views of Mt. Everest and other ranges of mighty peaks. In the comfort of the luxury hotel with the backdrop of Mt. Everest, you can also enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Amadablam.

Note:

Everest region trek generally begins from Lukla after the 35 minutes mountain flight from Kathmandu. But we cannot predict the weather condition of the Himalayan region. Then you cannot make a fight and vice versa because of the bad climate. If the weather is changed the small runway of the Lukla airport (Tenzing Hillary airport) can be dark and cannot fly on time. It might be delayed or cancellation a couple of days because of the bad weather. So we would highly recommend a couple of extra days for the Everest region trek.

Enjoy your life with marvelous views of the surrounding grand scenery downhill to Namche and then back to Lukla. After an enjoyable experience and memorable time in Khumbu valley, a short scenic flight brings you to Kathmandu.

Best Season for Everest view trek 5 days:

The spring season (March-May) will be the best time when wildflowers, especially the rhododendron (Nepal national flower) in full bloom, which the walk more appealing with beautiful, bright morning till afternoon, with some chances of rain sometimes.

September to early December is another best month around Autumn/Fall and pre-winter, when most of the days are clear for views and walks but can be much colder and freezing as altitude gains with chances of snow sometimes.

01
Day 01: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m (35 mins) and walk to Phakding 2,654 m- 04 hrs.

High altitude: 2820m Lukla

Activity: 35 minutes flights and a 3-hour walk

Accommodation: Tea houses

The morning flight time transfer to Kathmandu domestic air-terminal then fly to Lukla of 30 to 35 minutes of scenic flight facing views of Mt. Everest and other high mountain range on landing at Lukla, getting organized follow our guide and walk to Phakding on the downhill trail with few short ups, after a few hours of pleasant scenic walks reaching Phakding village for an overnight stop.

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m- 06 hrs.

From Phakding route follows Dudh Kosi River upstream to a charming village at Monjo and then enter Sagarmatha National Park, from here cross over a bridge to Jorsalle where the walk takes you river bed and with last final climb of the day to reach at famous Namche Bazaar for two overnights with afternoon free to relax and enjoy views of Kongde with a range of peaks

Day 03: At Namche trek to Everest View Point, 3,880 m - 05 hrs walk both ways.

High altitude: 3880m, Everest viewpoint Hotel

Activity: acclimatization, 3-hour walk

Accommodation: Tea houses

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner  

A short morning walks to reach Everest View Hotel located high up at 3,880 m, where the route leads to climbing to the top of Namche rewards you with bird-eye views of Namche, on reaching a ridge top where old short airstrip of Syangboche located.

Day 04: Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs last day walks.

Activity: 6-hour walk

The Everest view trek returns Namche after overserving the magnificent view of Mount Everest and many more peaks. The trail goes back mostly to the downhill flowing the Doudhkhoshi River. We are trek to losing altitude andy enjoy the genital walking through the Jorsalle village and arrived at Phakding.

The trekking trail passes through the forest of magnolia, giant firs, and rhododendrons, mani walls, and many more Sherpa villages. Day 05: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.

As per schedule flight time for Kathmandu transfer to Lukla air terminal or Tenzing-Hillary airport after getting a boarding pass and through security board in a small plane for the beautiful flight back to Kathmandu.
