Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu via various airlines and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour and Bhutan preparation.

Day 03: Fly to Paro 2,240 m 1 hr 30 min drive to Thimphu 2,320 m - 02 hrs.
  • Morning depart one hour flight to land at Paro international airport of Bhutan, with panorama of mountain range during air borne.
  • On reaching at Paro airport with visa formalities, our Bhutanese guide receives you for drive to Bhutan capital at Thimphu, an interesting ride of two hours through lovely countryside dotted with farm villages of typical Buddhist cultured villages.
  • On reaching Thimphu transfer to respective hotels, a modern city of Bhutan the one and only city in this world without traffic lights, all the traffic controlled by traffic police with a whistle.
  • Afternoon with time for interesting walk around Bhutan capital and witness its great culture and traditional life of Bhutanese.

Day 04: Tour of Thimphu at places of interest.
  • Having breakfast guide will show you around Thimphu memorial stupas, indigenous hospital, where traditional medicine still practiced and traditional painting school.
  • Afternoon visit includes Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple of valley with short scenic drive to large and recently built Buddha statue
  • Enjoy wonderful view of entire Thimphu valley, after an interesting tour return back to hotel with afternoon free for individual activities.

Day 05: Drive to Punakha 1,350 m- 03 hrs.
  • Second day in Bhutan starts with morning visit to traditional Hand Made Paper Mill, School of Arts and Crafts
  • Where students learn 13 different ways of arts used predominantly in Bhutan. Here visit Folk Heritage Museum, National Library and Traditional Institute of Medicine. Drive to the Zilukha nunnery where you can interact with nuns.
  • After lunch short drive to Punakha via Dochu-la pass at 3,200 m, grand views of Bhutan’s highest mountains Chomolhari / Jumolhari with range of peaks.
  • Walk around 108 stupas continue drive to warm semi tropical valley at Punakha, on arrival hike to the temple of Chimi Lakhang, the temple of fertility associated with religious art of phallus.

Day 06: At Punakha with interesting tour.
  • At Punakha short hike less 2 hrs to reach famed Tashigang Hongtso Monastery, located on the edge of forest area overlooking town of Hongtso,
  • Tashigang one of favorite place for visitors, surrounding buildings of pilgrims practicing silent meditation, and a peaceful calm pervades the area.
  • The monastery houses about 40 orphans, who receive language, religious and general education from the monks an interesting tour of the Gompa (monastery),
  • From here drive back to hotle at Punakha with visit on top Dochu-la for views of Himalaya peaks, includes Gangkhar Puensum, 7570 m, one of the unclimbed peak of Himalaya.

Day 07: Drive to Paro 150 k.m- 05 hrs.
  • Morning drive towards Paro with super scenery of Bhutan countryside and villages
  • Reaching Paro transfer into a nice hotel for overnight stop rest of the afternoon at leisure for short walks around the markets

Day 08: Sightseeing around Paro with famous “Tiger’s Nest”.
  • Morning having breakfast, a short drive with an hour climb to Bhutan’s most famous landmark to old Taksang Monastery famous as “Tiger’s Nest”.
  • A place for retreat and meditation of Buddhist monks and high priests, located on overhanging rock cliff with views of Paro town and distance peaks
  • From here descend for short drive to 17th centaury Ta-Dzong, converted as National Museum in 1967, afternoon at leisure for walks around Paro shops and markets.

Day 09: Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.
  • Depending upon flight time to Kathmandu or connecting with other Indian cities, our guide transfer you to Paro international airport for the flight back to Kathmandu, or flight to Delhi and respective destinations. For those flying back to Nepal on reaching Kathmandu airport our staff transfer you back to hotel.

Day 10: International Departure homeward bound or respective countries.
